ABOUT US | Testimonials
I will most certainly advocate anyone to get in touch with Work Rehab if they also require your services. The N.U.M of the ward had stated that you (Work Rehab) seem to be “right on the money” and “a lot more proactive” then my last rehab provider, to which I definitely agree with.
I am still in awe at how you and the team at Work Rehab have done so much for me in such a short amount of time, I am so grateful. Thank you doesn’t seem to be a big enough word right now for all your effort
I would just like to thank you and Work Rehab again for your superior work ethic and support in helping me to finally begin my new life.”
My name is Michael Butler and I have been in rehabilitation with Work Rehab for the past few months and in that time I have had a huge improvement with my occupational job potential and my personal well-being. I have been at TAFE here on the Sunshine Coast studying a Screen and Media Diploma and have had the great assistance of Jacqui Keys and her business in locating the course that best suited my ability and communicating with the Department of Veterans Affairs on my behalf.
To date, I have now passed all my subjects and have the potential to find full time employment at the completion of my year at TAFE. I would never had dreamed this possible 12 months ago and I am also hoping to achieve a certificate IV in occupational training and assessing to further my education in the film industry. I have also had the opportunity to discuss the sensitivity of my injury from the Army with Jacqui, knowing that this subject is in complete confidentiality, this for me has been a huge relief.
I would recommend any further patients that may need Jacqui Keys assistance to look no further than Work Rehab.
The Centrelink Case Management and Workplace Health Team have used the team at Work Rehab in a number of complex and difficult cases in the past. The very fact they are used often, demonstrates their ability to achieve outcomes that are beneficial for both the injured staff member and Centrelink. They understand early intervention principles which are critical for the successful management of injury and potential compensation cases, in particular psychological injury.
They consider the view of the case manager who often has an intimate knowledge of the injured staff member and tailors the approach in respect of this information. This has led to better outcomes and quicker, more durable returns to work.
They have also provided assistance in managing remote cases in which other Providers are reluctant to service further demonstrating a unique value to the organisation.
I have no hesitation in recommending their vast range of services and believe there to be significant cost to the organisation if not able to be utilized
Jacqui is one of those rare people who combines creative flair with good business sense. When she started Work Rehab she had a vision of making the company a leader in the field of rehabilitation in the Sunshine Coast. I believe she has not only achieved that objective but has exceeded expectations. She has developed a business with a sound framework and her professionalism, hard work and attention to detail have been rewarded with a business which continues to progress.
In addition to her business abilities, she has demonstrated excellent people skills both in dealing with clients and staff. She has generated respect and a high reputation by her caring attitude and ability to be able to look at all sides of an issue and give the best possibly advice.
I worked with Jacqui for several years. During this time, it was a pleasant experience to work with her. On the personal side, I found that she was good to work with. She was reliable, honest and relaxed in her attitude. On the professional side, she had a good knowledge of work medicine and of rehabilitation. Her professional judgment was excellent and I had every confidence in her decision making. Her personal qualities combined with her business abilities make the ideal combination.
A claim was referred to Work Rehab in February 2014, and I spoke to Fiona Larwood that day to explain what was required. Fiona organised to have the assessment done only two days later and provided me with emails following this to let me know when the report would be received. This was so helpful as I was always kept up to date and never had to chase Fiona with questions. The Workplace Assessment Report that Fiona completed was of a really high standard and made my job so much easier. The pictures of AA’s workplace were really helpful as I could really get an idea of how AA was hurt and what she actually does during her shift. Fiona also made some great recommendations which she then researched and forwarded to the employer. Fiona thoroughly followed this up with the employer and all of the recommendations were implemented. The Suitable Duties Plans were really clear and easy for the employer to understand and lead to AA receiving her clearance for normal duties. I have advised the employer today that AA’s claim has been ceased following the report from the Independent Specialist and that there was a recommendation to update the equipment they currently use. BB (AA’s Manager) informed me that she too was really impressed with the service Fiona provided and that she would use Work Rehab services to assess any new equipment before it was purchased.
I thank Fiona and Work Rehab for providing such a great service
As a CTP Rehab Advisor I am appreciative to work with rehabilitation colleagues that understand the benefits of pro-active assessment and provision of rehabilitation services to optimise functional recovery and outcomes. I have found Work Rehab offer professional expertise and also understand the complexities of compensable frameworks. I would recommend them as an excellent Occupational Rehabilitation service provider.
